They ensure effective and sustainable management of the forests and forest resources, which include among others, their contribution to combatting desertification and other climate change effects; conserving biodiversity and producing forest goods and services. 

An agronomist often acts as a liaison between the farmer and the crop researchers. He or she will review research findings and use this knowledge to help recommend solutions to farmers. Suggestions are made to the farmer regarding new scientific developments in order to help the growing operation. 

A Veterinarian plays a major role in the healthcare of pets; livestock; and zoo, sporting and laboratory animals. Some veterinarians use their skills to protect humans against diseases carried by animals and conduct clinical research on human and animal health problems. Agricultural Engineer or Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer is a person that is registered and licensed to practice Agricultural Engineering in the country. He applies engineering science and designs to the processes and systems involved in the sustainable production and post-production of safe food, feed, fiber, timber, and bio-energy and management of environment and natural resources.
