St. Therisita’s Academy is founded in
1932 in
Silay City, Negros Occidental. The school was first established in a rented house by the Siervas de San Jose sisters Mother Amancia Bautista Milagros Sarmiento, Annunciation Marcio, and Olinio Moreno.
The school initially started with kindergarten and initially catered to only female students. In 1984, the school began accepting male students with the pioneer batch of Theresianos in 1988.
Today, the school accepts students from Pre-School, Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School with the
ABM,
STEM with robotics integration, and
HUMSS tracks.
