BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (BSBA)
 
The BSBA program was granted Level II – Reaccredited status by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) for having satisfactorily met the standards and fulfilled all the requirements of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities. It covers the integrated approach and interrelationship among the functional areas of business as well as sensitivity to the economic, socio-cultural, technological, political-legal, and international environment in which business operates. It aims to impart basic and advanced business knowledge, develop important qualities and skills, and form attitudes that are essential to business leadership and success. A distinctive feature of the program is that graduates are grounded on strong Christian-Augustinian values. The curricula are so designed that all courses are similar in the first two years with the student to decide the area to major in the third year. The majors to choose from included the following:  (1) Marketing Management, and (2) Financial Management.
 
 
BSBA MAJOR IN MARKETING MANAGEMENT (BSBA MM)
 
The Marketing Management program prepares the student to be responsive to the total business environment by providing technical skills and competence in the areas of marketing. Graduates of the program can start as Management Trainee in Marketing, Marketing Assistant, Account Executive Merchandiser, PR/Advertising Assistant, Service Crew, Customer Service Agent/Representative, Junior Sales Trainer, Receptionist, Entrepreneur, Product/Brand Assistant, and Order/Billing Assistant, among others.
Program Educational Objectives of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management Program:
 
In the first five years on the job, graduates of Bachelor of Science in Business administration major in Marketing Management at the University of San Agustin should be able to utilize knowledge gained, skills developed, and attitude formed from their academic program to:
1. hold the first-line management position exhibiting Augustinian business education;
2. continue to learn marketing management and adapt in a world of continually changing business environment;
3. model professional, ethical, and socially responsible behavior imbued by Augustinian values; and
4. be active members of business, social, religious, and/or civic organizations.
 
Marketing Management Program Outcomes

By the time of graduation, the students of the program shall have the ability to:
  1. demonstrate the understanding of the marketing functions of organizations and formulate and apply marketing strategies to create measurable results to meet marketing objectives;
  2. apply and synthesize marketing and other functional areas of the business to make sound business decisions;
  3. use quantitative and qualitative analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate information, solve problems and make decisions and participate in marketing research  and development projects;
  4. analyze an organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats from a marketing and organizational perspective;
  5. craft a comprehensive business plan to assist the business in clarifying their vision, to secure financing, and to gain business partners and customers;
  6. perform the management functions of planning, organizing, leading and controlling as professional  business managers;
  7. use information and communications technology efficiently and effectively to access and process data, analyze results, and report business information;
  8. remain current with marketing and management strategies, developments and trends and employ them in new business environments;
  9. demonstrate professional written and interpersonal communication skills that will enable them to collaboratively interact with customers, employees and other stakeholders;
  10. work effectively both individually and as part of teams;
  11. preserve and promote “Filipino and Augustinian historical and cultural heritage;” and
  12. demonstrate knowledge and application of prescribed professional, social, and ethical responsibility and Augustinian values in the workplace.
