The fashion degrees are: Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion Design; and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Management with two tracks: Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Product Development. Fashion design courses are scheduled in a studio format for students to learn both creative and construction methods for fashion apparel. Students learn fashion illustration, computer illustration, pattern making and draping techniques. The business structure of the fashion industry which includes brand management, fashion show production, and promotional strategies are learned through lecture courses. The senior year is an exciting year because fashion design students will create their own collection which they conceptualize, design, and sew to present in a fashion show.
