Marikina Polytechnic College (MPC) is a technical college located in the city of Marikina. It was initially founded in 1947 as the Marikina Junior High School. The institution underwent several changes in its name as well developments in its program until it was finally converted into its current name through the Republic Act 9289 to provide higher technical and professional instructions to the students.
Since its establishment, MPC has become one of the leading higher education institutions in Marikina. The school is committed to train not only students but also its own faculty with the relevant knowledge and skills toward technopreneurship.
MPC provides a complete set of technical programs to hone young talents starting from senior high school with their Academic and Technical-Vocational Livelihood Tracks. It has undergraduate courses in Technical Teacher Education, Industrial Technology, and Certificate of Technology. Each course has several major tracks students can choose from. MPC is also open for graduate studies with Doctor of Education, Master of Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Technician Education, and Continuing Professional Education.
